Every year we see a new major software update for the Mac. Since 2013, these releases have been named after iconic California landmarks, complete with a photograph of it as a default wallpaper. More recently in this series, Apple has transitioned to colorful, vector graphic wallpapers that abstractly represent the location.
As someone who enjoys making vibrant, abstract designs (and using a Mac to do so), I wanted to combine all these pieces and create something fun. In this wallpaper collection, I have reimagined all the older California photograph wallpapers in the graphical style we know today.
Additionally, all wallpapers have been designed with a secondary dark version. If you set the dynamic version from the wallpaper pack as your desktop background, your Mac will automatically switch between the two when you turn on Dark Mode. Try it out!
These wallpapers are available for free download. Try them out on your devices and enjoy!
